Jill would be in front of the camera with her .270 WSM and Dan would be behind the camera capturing the entire hunt on film.<br /><br />They decided to sit on a large open marsh that the deer have been visiting. 30 minutes after they sat down, Jill spotted a BIG buck about 225 yards away on the far side of the marsh. They watched him for about 20 minutes, hoping he would eventually work towards them for a closer shot. Eventually the buck started to head back into the woods, when Jill pulled the trigger and made a perfect shot. The buck dropped in his tracks!<br /><br />The mature buck has 11 points and easily weighs 300lbs on the hoof.
